Delivery Terms
Last updated: September 13, 2026
1. What these delivery terms cover
These Delivery Terms explain how fireworktubes.com ships molded firework tubes: the Incoterms we quote, production lead times, how the goods are packed and loaded, which documents travel with your shipment, and how to handle damage or shortage. They form part of our Terms and Conditions.
2. Incoterms and pricing basis
| Term | What it means | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| FOB Shanghai / Ningbo | We deliver the goods on board at the named Chinese port; you arrange and pay main freight and insurance. | Default — all quotations unless stated otherwise |
| CIF | We arrange and pay freight and insurance to your named destination port. | On request for most destinations |
| DDP | We deliver to your named address with import duties and taxes paid. | On request, where the destination allows it |
| EXW | You collect from our factory in Jiangxi. | On request |
All terms follow Incoterms® 2020. The exact term, port and address are written on your order confirmation and proforma invoice.
3. Production lead time
- Stock sizes: approximately 15 days from order confirmation and receipt of deposit.
- Custom moulds: approximately 15 days for tooling, plus 15–20 days for production, depending on quantity and complexity.
- Chinese New Year, national holidays and peak shipping season can extend both lead times and transit times. We confirm a written schedule with every order.
Lead times are production times and do not include transit, port handling or customs clearance.
4. Packing
- Goods are packed in strong export cartons sized to the tube, so the tubes cannot rattle, bow or rub in transit.
- Cartons are five-ply corrugated and marked with size, quantity and batch reference for easy receiving.
- For full-container orders, palletising and shrink-wrapping are provided free of charge.
- Moisture-proof inner bags are available for tropical and high-humidity destinations.
- Branded or printed packaging can be produced to your artwork; agree the details with your order.
5. Container loading
Carton quantity per container depends on tube size and packing; we confirm it in your loading plan before production. Standard container reference:
| Container | Internal volume (approx.) | Typical payload |
|---|---|---|
| 20′ GP | 33 m³ | up to ~28 t |
| 40′ GP | 67 m³ | up to ~26 t |
| 40′ HQ | 76 m³ | up to ~26 t |
Weight is spread across the container floor and bottom layers are protected so the tubes arrive straight. Mixed sizes can travel in one container.
6. Shipping documents
Unless agreed otherwise, each shipment is accompanied by:
- commercial invoice and packing list;
- material safety data sheet (MSDS / SDS);
- batch test report (pressure and dimensions);
- transport classification confirmation, agreed with you before the container is sealed;
- certificate of origin — on request.
Tell us your destination market before production and we will confirm which standards and declarations apply to your order.
7. Insurance
Under FOB, insurance for the main carriage is arranged by you. Under CIF, we arrange minimum-cover marine insurance in accordance with the applicable Incoterm. We recommend arranging all-risk cover in any case.
8. Customs, duties and import compliance
Import clearance, duties, taxes, port charges at destination and any destination inspection costs are the Buyer's responsibility (except under DDP, where duties and taxes are included in our price). You are responsible for ensuring that the goods may lawfully be imported and used in your country; see section 10 of our Terms and Conditions.
9. Shipment updates
We send a shipping advice with vessel, container number and estimated arrival as soon as the container is loaded, and we aim to reply to questions within 24 hours during the working week.
10. Delays
Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (weather, port congestion, carrier roll-overs, vessel schedule changes, industrial action) are covered by the force majeure clause in our Terms and Conditions. Where we are responsible for a delay, we will discuss the most practical solution with you, which may include partial shipment or a revised schedule.
11. Damage, shortage and claims
- Inspect the container and cartons on arrival, before you take the goods away.
- Note any visible damage or shortage on the carrier's delivery receipt and photograph the cartons and pallet as received.
- Notify us in writing within 7 days for visible damage or shortage, and within 30 days for hidden defects, quoting the batch reference and carton numbers.
- Where a claim is accepted, we replace the affected goods or issue a credit note for them, at our option.
12. Returns
Goods cannot be returned without our prior written authorisation. Where we authorise a return, the goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and shipped to the address we specify. Return freight is at the Buyer's cost unless the return results from our error or from goods that do not conform to the agreed Specification.
